Welcome to the Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School (FLEPS)

At BAU Cyprus University, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of international education, and the establishment of our Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School (FLEPS) stands as a testament to our commitment to excellence and global vision. Founded as the first academic unit of the university in 2017, FLEPS has quickly become a cornerstone of our educational offering, reflecting our dedication to preparing students for the challenges of a globalized world.

At FLEPS, we celebrate diversity. This year, we are proud to have registered students from 35 different nations, creating a vibrant, multicultural environment that enriches the academic, cultural, and social development of our students. This diversity is not just a statistic; it is a vital part of our identity, contributing to a dynamic learning atmosphere that prepares our students for the realities of a connected world.

Our Divisions

FLEPS comprises two distinct but interrelated divisions: the English Preparatory Division (EPS) and the Foreign Languages Division (FLD). These divisions represent our comprehensive approach to language education, designed to meet the diverse needs of our student body.

  • English Preparatory Division (EPS): Tailored for students whose proficiency in English needs enhancement to meet the rigors of university-level education, EPS offers an intensive program that equips students with the language skills necessary for academic success. Our curriculum is delivered using the latest methods and effective techniques in English language instruction, ensuring that our students not only achieve fluency but also develop critical study skills for their future academic endeavors.
  • Foreign Languages Division (FLD): Recognizing the importance of multilingualism in today’s global society, FLD offers students the opportunity to learn new languages, fostering a deeper understanding of different cultures and enhancing international mobility and understanding.
